Set in a heterogeneous industrial area in Vorarlberg, Austria, this advertising agency headquarters stands out for its transparency and the formal rigour of its glass and concrete exterior. Visitors are welcomed by a staircase that bears them in a gentle wave-like motion up to the piano nobile. This reinterpretation of the “escalier d’honneur” communicates a sense of spaciousness. At the head of the stairs, behind a screen of glass and perforated metal, the staff staircase is visible. It links all three floors of the building: the staff parking area at ground level, the open-plan offices on the first floor, and the unit offices for the management on the second floor, as well as a rooftop basketball court.
