Petr Stolín Architekt

Petr Stolín opened his architectural practice in Liberec, Czech Republic, in 1993; Alena Mičeková joined in 2007. At the department of Art and Architecture at Liberec Technical University, Stolín also works with students on architectural models. According to the architect, “We strive for simplicity in all aspects. This makes the quality of the space and materials all the more important.” His designs are free of superfluous elements and use cost-efficient materials that are easy to work with and maintain. Stolín’s sense of restraint and long-term planning vision can be seen at his kindergarten Nova Ruda in Liberec, where the experimental articulation of space fosters creative use.
