Prefabricated building covers an enormous range, combining standardized elements with individual architectural expression.

In the student hostel in Sant Cugat del Vallès, for example, 62 concrete spatial cells are stacked to form a sophisticated housing complex, while the container motif is used in Shanghai for the extension of an organic farm. In Stuttgart, an experimental house has been created with two com-pletely prefabricated timber-frame modules.

Other projects include two day nurseries in Frankfurt, where the walls and floors consist of laminated cross-boarded elements, and a Belgian sailing club in glued timber construction.
