Prize-Winning Architectural Photography: The Building Images Exhibition

In 2015, the winner was Fernando Guerra; however, the other photographers whose work made it to the final round will be represented as well. Along with technical parameters, the Arcaid jury evaluates each photographer’s approach to architecture. For Fernando Guerra, it is the users who give a building life. This can be seen in Guerra’s photos.   The photos are judged in four different categories: exterior views, interior spaces, buildings in their surroundings and inhabited buildings. While the focus is on various qualities of the buildings, the aim is always the same: placing architecture at centre stage.
