Rehabilitation of Ljubljana in the Period of Transition

Buildings in the Slovenian capital are being afforded new functions which had not existed within the previous political system. The urban structure of the city, however, must also adapt to changing transport requirements. The author bemoans the protracted rate of development of urgently needed large-scale projects.
