Residential tower in Antwerp by C.F. Møller Architects and Brut

residential-tower-antwerpen-1 C.F. Møller Architects and Brut Architecture & Urban Design – in collaboration with ABT, DeernsTechnieken and Peritas EPB – have won a competition for a new mixed-use residential tower in Antwerp. All renderings: C.F. Møller & Brut The 24-storey complex offers 15,000 sqm of space divided into apartments, shops, offices and collective spaces, and also envisages approx. 5,000 sqm of balconies, winter terraces and roof terraces. Thanks to these generously-dimensioned exterior spaces, C.F. Møller Architects enable continuity between indoors and the outside, with the winter gardens and balconies providing green oases for the residents as additional spaces. The green roof terrace with its sweeping views of Antwerp is intended for use by both the residents and the office workers. The individual apartments differ in size, suiting them to students, singles and families alike. The façade is proposed in grey-brown brick combined with white concrete, and the balconies and winter gardens that envelope the building form an airy grid that articulates the façade. residential-tower-antwerpen-2 residential-tower-antwerpen-3 residential-tower-antwerpen-4 residential-tower-antwerpen-5 residential-tower-antwerpen-6 residential-tower-antwerpen-7 residential-tower-antwerpen-8 residential-tower-antwerpen-9
