Richter architectes

The Strasbourg-based practice Richter architectes is led by Anne-Laure Better (far right) and siblings Jan and Pascale Richter. Early projects for people in need of care fostered a particular sensitivity to user needs and the value of the surrounding natural landscape. The practice’s psychiatric care centre in Metz was recognised with the Prix de l’Équerre d’Argent in 2018. Today, the trio applies this experience to a broad spectrum of building types, including sports and cultural venues, schools, and office buildings. One example is the Elsa Triolet kindergarten near Paris.
