Self-supporting, Curved Glass Roof by Schollglas

The gently curved roof appears to lie on the building like a light cloth. In reality, however, the steel structure weighs 500 tonnes and spans the two-storey passages partly as a dome and partly as a vault. Daylight, thermal insulation and solar protection are provided by 2,670 Gewe-therm 4SG insulating panes with external solar protection from Schollglas. None of the trapezoidal or triangular panes is like the other.
