There is something compelling if unusual about suspending your house plants from the ceiling. When several planters are suspended the very nature of the space is transformed by the lush, soft verdure growing from the least expected place in the room.
Several plants grow well in the Sky Planter including edible plants such as: Fennel, Mint, Parsley, and Strawberry that could transform a kitchen space. Ornamental plants that prosper include the Rubber Plant, Peace Lilly, Orchid Kentia Palm, Hoya, Geranium, and English Ivy amongst others. Some plants such as the Yucca transform themselves in contortions to respond to the unusual light direction whilst other plants seem not to notice they are hanging upside down.
Bośkke have designed the planters in various sizes and materials including ceramic and recycled plastic. Once suspended the plants are watered from the top and have an indicator to tell you when to stop pouring.
