Spectacular fry-up: McDonald's, Batumi ,Georgia by Giorgi Khmaladze.

I hope you are sitting comfortably because you might be surprised to learn that this is a McDonald's burger joint in Batumi ,Georgia as designed by Giorgi Khmaladze. It incorporates a petrol station a garden and a beautiful landscape.

Look closely and you can see the logo but the tacky yellow plastic “M” spun as the “Golden Arches”, is nowhere to be seen.

The building has a fabulously brave cantilevered canopy that provides shelter to the forecourt of the petrol station. On the reverse side it is a garden.

The food outlet is entered from the opposite side appearing modest under the enormity of the architecture.

If only the burgers were as tasty as this building.
