In the Northern hemisphere at least, the end of January signals we are on the home stretch to spring. In that spirit, lets take a look at the Bloom Chair designed by
Kenneth Cobonpue. The chairs are inspired by … a flower's bloom, but more surprisingly actually manage to capture something of a bloom's mysterious attraction.
The flamboyance of these creations is enough to illuminate any room.
The chairs come in two forms: the easy arm chair, and the smaller club chair. The seats are made of microfibre and are shaped by hand using thousands of fine stitches radiating from the centre. We can only marvel at how nature makes such forms effortlessly! The material is upholstered over a resin and steel base.
The chairs are available in five colours and, if you are fortunate, will be found brightening-up a fashionable hotel or restaurant as the snows melt, and thoughts turn to the delights of the next season.
