It was known that Steve Jobs has been working on a yacht for several years. Although he passed away a year ago now, there is no mistaking the genius behind the design of this ship. Jobs movingly said: "I know that it’s possible I will die and leave Laurene with a half-built boat. But I have to keep going on it. If I don’t, it's an admission that I’m about to die.”
Jobs' influence is clear, but it is said that the interiors were designed by Philippe Starck.
Built by Dutch firm Feadship, it has a state of the art aluminium hull with walls of glass that are 40 feet long and ten feet high. The teak decks are said to be perfectly flat and uncluttered.
Jobs's family rewarded the craftsmen that built the ship with with a thank you note and a personalised iPod shuffle.
