Super studio: Studio GT SP by Studio Guilherme Torres, São Paulo, Brasil.

This house belonged to the artist Victor Brechert and was built in the 1940s. It was bought by the architect Guilherme Torres who has just refurbished it. Only 'gaps, openings and coatings have been changed. After Brechert's death the house was UN-inhabited serving as a sort of foundation and store for the artist's work.
The plan remains unchanged and it is remarkable how fresh the design of the original house looks. It is pleasing that the new occupant did not mess with it too much. The external and internal neon pieces are by Pinky Wainer and translate as, 'land of the free home of the brave'.
