An interesting proposal for 'revitalisation' of the historical Pushinsky Cinema in the centre of Moscow.
Instead of pulling down the building, which is in urgent need of renovation, the In Square Lab team want to emphasise the existing architecture and at the same time give it a new look.
The idea is to let a Corian and glass cell structure grow along the façade and cover parts of the building, while permitting new glimpses of the building structure behind. A playful idea intended to breathe new life into the old building and turn it into an interesting and attractive architectural highlight in the city of Moscow.

Symbiotic façade for Pushinsky Cinema
