The Move Outdoors: Gigantic Variant of a Classic is Weatherproof

About ten years ago, when the Roald Dahl Museum & Story Centre had a version of the author’s beloved Anglepoise lamp made that was three times its usual size, the result was an avalanche of demand. Within a year, the Original 1227™ Giant floor lamp and a matching hanging lamp appeared on the market.
Now the family is growing again, in particular as outdoor versions. One of these can be wall-mounted; the other is the classic standing model. In order to withstand wind and weather, they are made of stainless steel, better known for its use in shipbuilding, and are equipped with sealed illuminants and robust silicone cables. The lamps are available in 15 vivid colours. Now we just have to wait for warm evenings so we can sit outside.
