The Reconstruction of Old Buildings in Sofia - Current Problems and Prospects

The centre of the Bulgarian capital has developed into one of the most interesting investment locations for foreign real estate speculators. The migration of rural residents to urban locations, however, also influences the development of the city and its environs. The author describes these changes and presents various examples.
