Time is up: The Solomon Tower, Busan, South Korea by Asymptote Architecture.

The power and popularity of the high-rise building shows no sign of abating. Due to be completed this year, the 550m Solomon Tower in South Korea's World Business Center in Busan (WBCB) will be one of the tallest buildings Asia.
The tower is the work of the New York based practice Asymptote Architecture. A cluster of interconnected buildings form the complex, with three tall towers rising from a common base. The composition looks something like a giant cactus! Despite their proximity each building is regarded as independent containing offices and business premises.
The project won the 2008 American Architecture Award given by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.
