This furniture collection is known as Switch. It is a study in modularity. Its inspiration came from the 1930s, Art Deco, and the Bauhaus but the spirit behind the products is bang up to date!
One of its interesting aspects is its 'upcycling' of waste such as PET-bottles and wood waste to create acoustic felt.
From relatively few components such as upholstered division walls, padded stools, U-shaped arm rests and other accessories, a plethora of assemblages can be formed by turning over or turning round the pieces. All the principle components have a multiple usage making the range surprisingly flexible.
