Venice Biennale 2008 - A Nomadic Garden

An interview with Frank Barkow on aspects of temporality.

The installation considers vernacular forms of nomadic settlement which operate along lines of formation, dispersion and then reformation. On the other hand it is based on the application of a software that can visualise a phenomenon such as particle dynamics. The result of this combination is a tool for temporarily colonising a site.
