TECLA Experimental Building

The experimental building Tecla is a residential prototype with an area of around 60 m². The name stands for Technology and Clay. Mario Cucinella Architects and the printer manufacturer WASP are the initiators of the project, which is based on high-tech and local natural resources. Two 3D printers attached to robotic arms created the dome construction from a mix of earth, water, lime and chopped straw.
