Washbasin Bowls Made of Enamelled Steel

Kaldewei’s core competence is to combine steel enamel from its own production with sophisticated designs. An example of this are the Miena washbasins. The single-walled washbasin bowls designed by Anke Salomon are available in round and square shapes and in two different dimensions. In addition to the classic sanitary-ware colours, the exclusive shades of the Coordinated Colours Collection are also available.
The new washbasin bowls can be placed freely on a support plate or console and do not have to subordinate themselves to the set dimensions of the bathroom furniture. Thanks to the enamelled drain covers, which are characteristic of many Kaldewei product ranges, the possibilities for combining Miena washbasins with bathtubs and enamelled shower surfaces from the Kaldewei portfolio are wide-ranging.
The design is based on clear, timeless basic geometries, which, however, have been detached from the pure geometry as if naturally flowing. Miena has already received several awards, including the German Design Award “Winner Excellent Product Design Bath and Wellness” and the Miaw – Muuuz International Award 2017 in the category “Kitchen and Bath”.
