Architects: Glenn Howells Architects The outward appearance of Glenn Howell’s ‘The Triangle’ housing estate in Swindon is somewhat deceptive. At first glance, the light rendered houses, which are located close to the Great Western Railway and yards, appear like a reinterpretation of the traditonal railway cottage terrace. Yet by incorporating a wide range of low-carbon technologies and construction methods, they meet Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes, with an energy use 44% lower than the 2006 Part L regulations.
