Without a Word: Silent Letter by Davide Conti

Photo: Davide Conti
The ordinary valet stand, where you can lay out your clothing to air overnight without becoming wrinkled, is usually made of wood and generally looks exactly like what it is. Now, Italian designer Davide Conti has developed a new concept for the old valet stand: the Silent Letter series.
The letters of the alphabet, a universal language of form, are the foundations of the Silent Letter series. Modest yet striking, they are an attractive eye-catcher in any living space, from the bedroom to the living room to the nursery, in the bathroom, kitchen, or even among the objects d’art. And they can be put to use in any space as well.
The letters – and the entire alphabet is available in a host of colours– are made of curved steel wire. They are manufactured by Irooon in the Italian city of Taranto.
