Wood confirmed as a space energy-saver

One of the findings of the Wood2New Europe-wide scientific project confirmed the significant contribution of wooden floors, ceilings and walls to energy saving. This is due to the fact that the natural material is able to dissipate heat into a cooler environment and to cool room-air when it is warm.
