Steffi Lenzen
Steffi is a passionate book editor with focus on structural engineering. Building with wood and topics related to sustainability are among her special interests. Born in Aachen, she studied architecture at RWTH Aachen University and at the École d'Architecture de Paris-La-Villette. After several years as an architect at Döring Dahmen Joeressen in Düsseldorf, she was drawn to the publishing industry. In 2001 she started as an online trainee at Detail and was significantly involved in the creation of the first Detail website. But she soon took over editorial responsibility for the construction manuals and the coordination of the steadily growing book program. Since 2019, she has been team leader of the book editorial team.
