Cityförster architecture + urbanism

Since their foundation in 2005, Cityförster have been working on the realization of buildings, urban structures, and open spaces for the multifunctional city – which they envision as being compact, socially and functionally mixed, networked, productive, circularly organized, and climate-adaptive. The interdisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and urban planners works in the areas of living, working, and learning for cities and regions. With a staff of 37, Cityförster have offices in Berlin, Hannover, Rotterdam, and Tirana. The firm specializes in experimental resource-friendly and recycling-friendly building – approaches that are central to their design of the Recycling House in Hanover.
