Porcelain Stoneware for a Villa in Valencia

Foto: Grespania

The main building is almost square on the ground floor and is oriented around a central, green atrium. The architects have designed the upper floor as a one-sided overlying block. It contains some of the bedrooms and bathrooms, with two more on the south side next to the house’s main entrance. The kitchen, living and dining area open to the north and to the partly covered terrace with its swimming pool and view over the orange groves.

The two buildings were constructed from prefabricated concrete elements, with their dimensions also determining the volume size. Thanks to the factory prefabrication, the property was able to be completed within a period of around four months. All the floor tiles have a cement look and come from the Tempo series by Grespania. The anti-slip version from the same manufacturer was chosen for the porcelain stoneware laid around the swimming pool.
