Paper Solar Protection

Inspired by Japanese sliding screens called shoji, Wood & Washi designs individual solar protection blinds made from traditional Japan paper. The paper webs are made from the fibres of the mulberry tree, with height, width and number of webs all freely selectable. The profiles are made of aluminium, stainless steel or wood. A special lamination makes the paper lightfast and easy to clean.
