FRES architectes

Based in Paris and Geneva, FRES architectes was founded in 2004 by Laurent Gravier and Sara Martín Cámara. Working across a wide range of scales and uses, their architecture practice focuses on themes such as density, variety, and sustainability. Approaching each project as an object of research, they produce unique, contemporary, and positive proposals for site-specific spatial programmes. The practice complements its work with external activities such as teaching, conferences, work-shops, and architectural juries – this enables the architects to participate in the public discourse and continuously develop their work in terms of social, cultural, structural, and environ- mental values. The architects’ projects have been widely published and received several architectural awards.
