LAAC

In 2009 Kathrin Aste and Frank Ludin founded LAAC in Innsbruck. They have been running their architectural practice with Daniel Luckeneder as an associate partner since 2018. The relationship to the urban or natural landscape, as well as the potential of digital tools, are essential to the firm’s design practice. “Architecture is seen as an outcome of processes and a register of relationships,” according to LAAC. Notable buildings include the Top of Tyrol viewing platform on the Stubai Glacier, the P2 Urban Hybrid with the Innsbruck City Library, and several super-markets for the MPreis chain.
