MosBuild – largest building and interiors exhibition in Russia

In April 2014 the 20th edition of MosBuild will be held across Moscow’s exhibition venues where three events are run: Building & Interiors, Fenestration and Cersanex.

Building & Interiors will take place from 1-4 April 2014 at Expocentre and will showcase the latest products in the industry through its ten dedicated exhibitions: building materials & equipment, hardware & tools, country construction, interior finishes, doors & locks, flooring, wall décor, lighting & electrics, decotex and paints & coatings. The exhibition annually attracts 1,500 exhibiting companies from more than 40 countries.

The 2014 edition welcomes well-known industry brands such as Tegola, Terchnonikol, Izorok, BASF, Bostik, Decolux, Amigo, Caparol, Barausse, Lendor, Doorhan, Albes, Spetsstroy, Steelinvest, Market Square, Rasch, KT exclusive, Parketoff, Bask, and many others having already confirmed their participation.

Fenestration runs alongside Building & Interiors at Moscow’s ‘All-Russia Exhibition Centre’ (V.V.C.) and focuses on the major developments in the windows, façades, gates and automation industry. Comprising five specialized sectors: windows & profiles, facades, architectural glass, gates & automation and fireproof equipment, the 2014 edition is expected to attract more than 250 companies from 19 countries. The third event, Cersanex, will again run in its own dedicated week from the 15-18 April 2014 and bring together leading players in the ceramic tile, stone, swimming pool and bathroom industries. Already confirmed for the MosBuild Cersanex 2014 edition are industry renowned brands: Kerama Marazzi, Atlas Concorde, Italon (Porcelain Factory), Granitifiandre, Keraminum , Sokol , Ceramica Aparici, Peronda, Domoff Group, Roca Group, Vitra, Villeroy & Boch, TOTO, Colorobbia, Sibelco among many others.

Held alongside MosBuild 2014 will be a series of business and competitive events, each of which, through detailed discussion of issues and strategies, are aimed at specific areas of the construction industry, building materials market and architecture and design industry. On the 2014 agenda Russia’s push towards environmental awareness is again a hot topic, highlighted by the return of the e3Awards and e3forum two key events focused on raising the awareness of eco-friendly products and energy efficiency in construction and architecture.

MosBuild 2014 will feature a full conference and business programme to include:

e3Awards (Ecology, Energy Efficiency): The first international environmental award of its kind in the field of building & finishing materials.  

e3Forum: A specialized business event dedicated to the discussion of topical issues concerned with ecology and energy efficiency in construction and architecture. The forum brings together senior figures from the green building sector.

ArchCeramica (Ceramics and Architecture): A competition devoted to the different ways of using ceramic tiles in architecture and interior design.

MosBuild Architecture & Design Awards (MADA): An international competition for young architects and architectural students.

MosBuild School: An event offering master classes by famous architects and designers, educational workshops and training sessions by the best university teachers, and architecture and construction experts.
