Founded in 2012 and based in Paris and Santiago de Chile, Plan Común is led by Felipe De Ferrari, Kim Courrèges, Nissim Haguenauer with Marcelo Cox (not pictured). The office uses simple architectural tools to devise strategies that maximise and strengthen collective and public space. Their approach is reflected in recent works such as Maison Commune, a house for communal living in an urban context, as well as social housing apartments in Paris and a collective housing project in Montevideo, both now under construction.
The Parisian architectural studio Plan Común developed at its own behest a residential building featuring spacious communal areas. The project is an experiment in co-living in a housing community.
