Barkow Leibinger

In 1993, Frank Barkow and Regine Leibinger founded their American-German practice in Berlin, which today employs 70 staff. Their portfolio includes the Tour Total office tower at Berlin Central Station, the Fellows Pavilion for the American Academy in Berlin, the Harvard ArtLab in Cambridge, and two student residences at Rice University in Houston. A central focus is the firm’s collaboration with Trumpf in Germany, the USA, Hungary, and Switzerland, resulting in award-winning timber, steel, and reinforced-concrete structures, along with research into infra-lightweight concrete.
