Her preferred manner of work is “hands-on” – interactively with all those involved in a project. With 25 years of professional experience, Dorte Mandrup Architects is known for its transformations, mixed-use buildings and other landmarks. The practice has a whole line of internationally recognized iconic buildings to its name, including the recent Icefjord Centre in Greenland and the IKEA Hubhult international meeting centre in Sweden. Her latest Copenhagen project: the Sundbyøster Hall II (SH2), in which sport, shopping and housing are united beneath a single roof.
