Ofis arhitekti
Špela Videčnik and Rok Oman met at the Ljubljana School of Architecture and went on to study at the Architectural Association in London. In 1996, they founded their joint architectural practice, based in both Ljubljana and Paris. Ofis explores spatial relationships across all scales, from suburban detached homes to cultural buildings in dense urban settings. Existing structures also play a significant role in their work: In 2004, Ofis extended the City Museum of Ljubljana, and 21 years later, they converted a former printery in the Slovenian capital. The practice often works in extreme climate zones, from alpine shelters to a glass house in Andalusia’s desert.
