Allen + Crippa

Ronan Crippa and Timothy Allen, both born in 1994, grew up together in Grabs, a municipality in eastern Switzerland, and studied architecture at ETH Zurich. The relocation of the Gässlihus in their hometown was the catalyst for founding their studio, Allen + Crippa, in 2022. The duo see their work as shaped by societal choices and informed by ecological and political considerations. A particular focus is placed on people within their spatial context and on a constructive engagement with materiality.
